Just saw a story on Android Central that the gear vr isn't working on sprint & Verizon models. Apparently the phone needs an update that's based on carrier availability.

I got to mess with them tonight at a friends house. When I first heard about the VR Headset I said that it was a gimmick. I was so wrong. This thing was awesome. One scene you were on mars and looking around you can see other planets, another you you are in the desert you can see your shadow but there is no body. It messes with your brain. Another scene you are in a auditorium in the middle of an opera.You look to your right you see dancers and to your left you see other performers. Their is so much more they can do with the VR headset. Those who thought it was a gimmick at first try it out you might change your mind...
