Samsung passes Motorola and HTC in Android sales

lol if you dont like it don't buy it But numbers dont lie and Samsung is ahead of moto and by alot. Hate on Samsung all you want. The proof is in the math.

No doubt the X would have been a huge success if it was cross carrier. Im sure some contract with Vzw is the limiting factor there. Dont get me wrong I love the X and D2. I think they are great devices. But they need to step up their game to compete in a world market. And stop screwing their costomers over with locked bootloaders and re-releasing phones a few months after they originally released with better specs. These factors only piss their customer base off.

I would love to see Motorola once again be top of its game - but as long as they have Motoblur - that will not happen.

But...remember...it is an American company that is leading the industry right now...Apple.

Just because an item sells more models, does not mean it is a better phone. Chevy outsells Mercedes, Taurus outsells SIG, so Samsung outsells Motorola.

And yet they are better phone...


Droids are great phone and so is the droid x but the fascinate is better imo and guess what thats the only opinoin i care about but it looks like alot of others agree.

My first smartphone was the Omnia. I've learned my lesson and will go back to a tin can with string before switching from my Droid 1.

K ppl here is what I think, yeah samsung are great phones but I my self from experience think there made out of glass lol, now I used to have a motorola and it got dropped from a two story balcony in the barracks and it did not break...just because sales numbers are down for motorola and up for samsung does not mean there a better phone. Example when the Xbox 360 launched it outsold the Ps3, but then red rings of death started appearing...with that said and with my experience I will stick with motorola. There might be many great phones out there but im a die hard DROID X lol...and I also used to have an iphone...THEY SUCK...
