screen doesn't shut off during calls

Its seems that everyone is having the opposite problem I'm having. After I dial a number and hit call or after I answer the phone I put the phone to my ear, normal. Then the screen shuts off, normal. Then a second later the screen will turn back on, not normal. I've gone through the screen settings and the call settings can not find any kind of setting or option for this. It seems like this has started happening since updating to 2.2 Froyo.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Does anyone know how to fix this?

it just means you have a faulty proximity sensor

If it has only started once you did the 2.2 upgrade just do a factory reset.

If that doesn't fix it then yes, you have a faulty proximity sensor
