Screen off while plugged in?

I'm sure theres a simple fix for this, but ive half-assed searched (thanks ADD) and cant find anything. I have a custom made car dock and when my phone's plugged in, the only thing that keeps the screen on is navigation. I'd like it to stay open on music, texts, pandora etc. or just stay on in general when plugged in. any ways to do this? thanks guys

KeepScreen will do that for you. You can specify the programs that will keep the screen on.

You could also force the phone to always keep the screen on when charging (though it'll do it when plugged in at your desk as well). Settings --> Applications --> Development --> Stay awake

bingo. that second option was what i was looking for. i knew there was a way, i just couldnt remember how to get to it
