Exactly! As @94lt1 mentioned, that's the whole point. They absorb the impact and shatter, which prevents your screen from shattering. And they do a damn good job doing that. They aren't as fragile as you might think, but it's much easier to replace a 20 dollar tempered glass protector, as opposed to paying 150 bucks to replace your device through your insurance plan.
Well worth the money IMO!

How's the clarity and any issue with the S-Pen with these?

How does it handle having a case? I'm using a Supcase.
