Screen still too bright in media dock

Interesting thread. I am incredibly light sensitive. I usually end up turning my phone off b/c I can't have any light. (I've even been known to throw a t-shirt over the dvd player to block that "bright red" standby light... Lol!)

I have a similar problem, I can sleep through loud noises but light will wake me fast. I solved it by getting a sleep mask that I use on those nights the wife decides to fall asleep with the TV going (if I turn it off, she wakes up and turns it back on).
