screen turns off after 30 seconds?

So im having a bit of trouble. My screen seems to shut off after 30 seconds and I have no idea why. I've changed it in the settings countless times but after a bit of time it changes back to screen light turns off after 30 seconds? Anyone know why it is doing this?

So you've gone into settings, display, screen time out, and adjusted that setting??

If so, then you need to reboot your phone. Then let me know how this works.

do you use Smart Actions?
If so, check to see if there is a conflict with a particular action.

I am not sure if this is your problem but.... I originally had my phone settings set to screen shut off when put in
your pocket. In settings, display, in pocket detection. While this is action activated I was accidentally placing a finger over the proximity sensor while texting or holding the phone. I could not figure out why it kept shutting down? And that was the problem. I am just mentioning this
So that you cover all the bases...so to speak. This is my experience. GOOD LUCK.
