Screen won't turn on after phone call

That there is a funny post portun8!! And yes, I feel pretty much the same way. It's all a mind fluck.....we are all consumed by our "Smart" phones. We spend hours, days, months figuring them out....only to have them take years off our lives due to the stress they cause.

One of my friends said it best.....just give me a damn flip phone!!:p

Mystery solved! Who knew a screen protector could cause such serious problems... The screen protector I recently installed on my phone was interfering with the proximity sensor, causing ALL of my problems. Took it off and it's perfect now. VERY happy I didn't return this phone.

Just wanted to say thanks! I had been having the same problem, did a google search and ended up here. Trimmed the top edge off my screen protector and it appears to work perfect. If only all problems could be resolved so easily! Thank you!

Indeed, screen protectors are known to interfere with this, some do and some don't, I know the anti-glare ones (at least the one I had) was really bad and I had to trim it out like you stated.

Dust and lint also seem to be an issue with this device, as it seems to be able to get under the glass where the sensor is... sometimes you can get it out, other times you are just out of luck.
