Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I tried MIUI and really tried hard to like it, but I just can't find a single reason to switch permanently. All the devs are doing excellent on their ROMs now, they're all blazing fast, have awesome features, etc.
I really did try hard to like MIUI - the only thing that I really miss is the toggles in the dropdown...but somewhere, someone will incorporate that into the other ROMs available.

Anyway...
Here's my personal best battery life EVER. *Almost* 80 hours on a single charge!

Sapphire 1.1.1
JDLFG 1000MHzULV
Avalon .2

Now trying out Sapphire 2.0.0 (hopefully I'll get close to previous battery life!)
stock 800MHz kernel
Blacked Out

80hrs? Thats amazing, what that standby time? I cant see any android phone going 3+ days without charging unless iis just sitting there.

Standby, to my knowledge, is the percentage of time the phone was actually doing absolutely nothing... as in 15% of the time since my phone was last charged, it was sitting on my desk or in my pocket doing nothing.

I know that most people will argue how long a Droid battery can possibly last, and this is a discussion for another thread, but I will say this: do a search for my name in these forums and search out the threads for battery life - you'll see that my battery life has actually INCREASED over time, with my previous personal record being almost 50 hours.

Now, like anything else, we could talk semantics of use vs. non-use, but I will say this: I may not use my phone as much as some of you do, but I DO use it moderately. I take at least a couple hours of phone calls, 50+ texts (inc. pix/flix), at least 1hr of network/wifi apps, and 1/2 hour of browser/email/gmail EVERY DAY.
It wasn't until I quit fidgeting with the damn thing and stopped playing with it all the time that I finally realized that these batteries don't suck - it's the users that are draining them.

Anyway, 80+ hours on a single charge with moderate use isn't out of the question - the question is "can you leave the damn thing alone?" ;)
Also realize that most everything is killed at boot, no sync or background data unless it's absolutely necessary, no wifi unless I'm using it, etc. All these little things add up.
I don't sync my email (much) or go to FB (at all) on my phone - I'm usually at work, and there to WORK. When I'm not at work, I have a 6-core processor w/ 12GB of RAM and a fiber-optic connection...no need for my phone to download/sync/FB anything.

Very good points, I recently just stopped messing with it every 5min myself. I'm a heavy web user on my phone and have 3 email accounts that sync every 1hr on the hr. I do have another battery that I just slip in when my main one gets low though.. thats my fix. :)

Trying to get that cool look a lot of you have. Thanx for the apps so I can start learning

I like this simple look ALOT!:icon_ banana:

Experimenting with a "quick contacts cloud". Right screen 1. :)

I tried searching for Quick Contacts and didn't find it.

There is a widget called Quick Access. I tried it for a while but it crashed my phone. I made this one myself.

I use LauncherPro's People widget. It works perfectly. Just looking for something different. It would be cool if an app placed starred contacts like you have them, but with the size of the bubble automatically based on the frequency of calls to each contact.
