Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

K i am wondering how yall are getting your text icons down at the very bottom. I am running ADW and desktop visualizer. Mine will not set at the bottom where the dock bar would be.

It's a dock with the text already on it. Then you add transparent png's to link to whatever app you want it to open

Ok for all of us almost noobs, how the heck do you transfer transparent pngs and where do you get the dock, are these things I would have to theme/make on my own haha? Unless I had a guide and it is super easy and requires almost no skill then I am SOL

It's extremely easy so you won't have any problems with it. You can make your own docks or you can use docks people have already made. ADW doesn't have the ability to add custom docks. It didn't when I last used it but that could've changed by now.
Here is a link to Ultralinx's dropbox. Full of custom docks you can use: Dropbox - Photos - Online backup, file sync, and sharing made easy.
Just download the dock, click on the dock you want and then click the save button at the bottom. And in LP(and maybe ADW), add a custom dock, and add whatever dock you placed on your SD card. Then add a dock shortcut like you normally would do and add a custom icon(transparent png). You can either make one, just a 72x72 transparent png or I can upload one for you. Whichever

Alright, I'll upload one. And yeah, no problem. Just make sure that you click on the dock to enlarge it and click the save button because many are transparent docks and if you don't enlarge it to save it, it will have a white background behind the dock rather than being just the dock.
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the docks LP offers. So, I always use a custom one. There are A LOT of great docks out there.

Or it could be part of the wallpaper too, then like Dj said, just a matter of grabbing a transparent PNG place it over the specific area and link to an app thru desktop visualizer, even easier, desktop visualizer will allow you to select the icon (you should pic the transparent PNG) and the link ( could be an app or shortcut)

Yeah, no problem, man! And like alonsou said, it can be built into the wallpaper to. But, to avoid confusion, DV can't be used for the dock.

And check my pm? I'm lost...

EDIT: Never mind. I was thinking you mean private message but it didn't alert me so I was confused and now it finally did haha
