Been out of the droid game for months now...haven't been flashing new ROMs or theming all the time like I used to. DarkEdge is still goin strong for me...

no not at all you can have both. i don't know about alonsou or czonin but i have transparent icons on my homescreen that goto my text messaging, gmail, and to gTalk. Then on the bar at the bottom you can see those that go to my app drawer and the phone button.. anything else just access from the app drawer.
Yeap!, all the basic functionality of the phone is within the dock with transparent icons on it, just like garret said
So I love the two screen look but I'm thinking for quick access to say...my top 3 contacts that I call most often (i have the quick call bars right now) to do list (could probably make this into something just text w/ transparent background), sticky note is nice to have right on a main screen (maybe another possibility to have with just a transparent background), definitely need super fast access to my calendar...
supposing I could set certain things to come up when I click on specific icons, eg: click on date with minimalistic text widget and calendar pops up...
Dunno. maybe I'll start working on getting down to two screens and go from there.
I just got tired of spending countless hours flashing ROMs, trying different themes all the time, etc. I'm a little outdated at this point, but I still love the dark/black theme DE gives to every aspect of the phone. It's still a beautiful theme that goes way beyond themeing the homescreens. It's as fast as it ever was, runs smooth and does everything I need it to do, so I'm content riding it out until I upgrade to a new device later this year. Plus you gotta admit, this is damn sexy...
APK manager if you want it done easy and fast.

Tru dat. I'll especially won't flash as much when I get my GTablet in. Anymore I don't do anything other than PE or MIUI. Plus I always stick with Minimal Setups so changing the Lockscreen and Home wallpapers is about it.

Lockscreen's not to shabby either...
Is that widgetlocker? Can't remember if that's stock or not since it's been so long.
Could you send me the links to some articles that can explain how to do this (change unlock background & time & date also change slider)? I am searching around but no luck yet.
