Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

Pieces of the lockscreen are familiar, but together they make something new and nice.

Love the all-text approach.

Agreed love the all text approach and its a sweeet set up. Where can I get a hold of the text on your actual homescreen? I find icons for them in a bunch of different dropboxes and such, but there are never enough or never the ones I actually want or like. The ones you have are exactly what I'm looking for!

i made them in minimalistic text widget, and it uses your system font. mine is caviar dreams.:)

ahh man thanks! i never thought of actually using minimalistic text -_-. thanks again saved me a lot of aggravation looking for a good icon pack!

This may be a stupid question, but how does minimalistic text widget work? I can change all the settings, but cant change the word/text. Its always just displaying the time. I named one 'Phone' and had it open up the dialer, but the text is still displaying the time. Im thinking i have to do something in the Layout section but cant figure out how that tool works. please help.

in the layout section, hit predefined layout, and scroll all the way down to custom..., hit that and then the custom layout option will be available. hit that option and you can drag the clock stuff in the trash. then go to the misc section and add in static text. click on the box that says (st) and type what ever you want. and you can assign it to your normal, accented, or non accented font type and you can change the casing, size and color etc. now scroll down to tap behavior and check off "start another activity" then hit select activity and choose what ever app you want it to open. then hit ok and you should be good to go. there are so many more options this just specifically tells you how to get working text icons.

hope this helps, have any more questions feel free to ask:)

cool let me know how it goes. you should also just try playing around in the custom layout section, there are many styles of clocks, calendar dates, battery percentage weather etc that you can make. besides the premade ones in the default layout section.

I can't seem to keep a set up for more than a week or two...

Just a pic of the lockscreen I was previously using. Haven't posted shots since I accidentally unrooted my phone so this is the only thing I had set up.
