***I posted this over in the Rezound Forum...thought I'd share here too***
On an HTC Rezound running ICS & Nova Launcher.
This is the first time I have really customized my home screen. I've always been quite happy with a grid of icons on a black background (simple & clean), but with me being a Graphic Artist and my desire to get creative with it, I decided to play around a bit.
I tend to stay away from busy backgrounds with tons of icons on top. They are typically hard to see and read, so I wanted to keep it clean/simple/professional.
The wallpaper is a photo I took from one of my daughter's books, "Harry & Horsie". The illustrations have a retro look to them...very cool.
The bottom icons are from the "MetroStation Icon Pack". You can select all kinds of simple/clean icons to use and also choose the color. Works very well.
The weather & clock widget is "World Weather Clock Widget". It's pretty customizable and allows for transparent backgrounds, which is why I like it. I'll probably keep exploring options here because my home screen has three clocks on it now, which I don't need. Ideally, I'd like the same look and feel as this widget, but with just the weather.
