Seidio Case

I'd probably buy it if they offered it in something other than black, but visually it looks the same as everything else out there.

If I cared about looks that much I wouldn't buy a case at all. I want protection and Seidio offers it.

That statement seems contradictory to me... By using a case, you're protecting your phones finish and functionality.

All I'm saying is that I'd like to see it in another color. I have the Body Glove case and I'm not dropping another $30 on another bland black case.

Case looks amazing and I am happy I waited for this to come out, hopefully within this next week!
Will any of you be getting screen protectors to put on this as well? I am thinking about getting one but am not sure which one to get.

Looks like they're taking pre-orders now for the black innocase. I had their case and clip for my iPhone - best case I've ever had for a phone. Needless to say, I've pre-ordered the case and clip combo.

That's odd. I talked to them today and they told me it was in early stage development and they didn't have a release date.

These are great cases!

Look at the detail.

While other hard cases cut out an opening for the speaker/gold strip that's only about an inch long, Seidio, on their Inno case, provides a cutout that runs the entire width of the back of the phone, exposing the gold stripe in it's entirety...

yea, perhaps you don't need the entire stripe to be exposed for the speaker to be heard, but it DOES look MUCH nicer! The gold stripe (and gold camera shutter button) running from edge to edge is how the designers wanted it... love it or hate it, that's the look.

I'm glad Seidio decided to provide a cutout for the entire gold stripe.

All other cut outs are also exact! Check out the cutouts on other hard cases!

Ordered mine this morning. :icon_ banana:

$30 for this case? That doesn't seem a little excessive to anyone?

I got my case on ebay for like $9.xx with free shipping. Just search for "droid rubberized case", it looks exactly like the purple one above. Fits well, easy to put on and take off.

The Seidio case is not the purple one (not sure if you thought it was or not), it's the case in the upper left.

Now, if you can't tell any difference in the quality between the case in the upper left, and the purple case and/or the lower case, then it certainly isn't worth an extra $20.

I figure if I spent $200 on what's really a $500 device (Verizon will get the $300 from me over time), I try to keep it in pristine condition. I also like a case that simply feels good in my hands, that detracts as little as possible from the device.

I've tried the Body Glove cases (shown in lower photo), and they were bulky, and certainly didn't ADD anything to the look/feel of my device (a G1, at the time)

The Seidio case has a soft textured finish, comes with some type of soft material on the inside to protect my device, and, bottom line, simply looks GREAT! And... it adds almost nothing to the overall size of the Droid. They are precision engineered to add the absolute minimum in weight and size, while still providing protection.

Twenty bucks more? for me, it's worth it. Not for everyone.
