Seidio Rugged Review...

Overall this is a great case. Got it a couple of days ago and I have noticed a few annoying things.....The headphone jack cover on the silicone case part is nearly impossible to open....I have to dig it open with a key or push it out from the inside of the cover. The built in screen cover on the innocase is not good. It made the buttons along the bottom extremely hard to press, especially the back and the search buttons. My cover actually started peeling off so I just ended up pulling it off. I would definitely buy the case again. it does what I bought it for which was drop protection and some waterproof protection from my sweat and light rain getting onto it. Just my opinions...

Can you tell me if the inner hard case will still fit in the holster relatively securely without the outer silicone and skeleton in place? I'd like to be able to use the holster in both configurations ideally.

Thanks!

Think I'm passing on this case. I just want one that prevents keyboard slide-out and offers some protection but is less bulky. Don't know if I'm ever going to find one though.

I would not trust it. It is pretty loose without the silicone on it.

Thanks for the info, just what I was looking to know. I think I'm still planning to get the case, but maybe I'll plan to pick up an innocase holster at some future point to use with the inner layer from the rugged.

One other question: You said you pulled off the built in screen protector... did that effect the fit/looseness of the innercase with it missing?

Thanks!

No it doesn't have any effect on the cover without it there it still fits the way it should over it. I have a screen protector already on mine any ways. I found that dust and dirt were getting in behind the built in screen protector too. If you get one just try it out for a while and if you don't like it, it will come right off. or if you call and complain they might just send you a regular innocase to go with it :]

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll pick up a rugged case. I'll probably take off the screen protector and just use a zagg.
