i had that happen to me on the 12 18 release but all i had to do is restart the phone and it worked fine for me but haven't had a problem yet on the latest release

hashcode i noticed that the volume buttons are backwards on this its not a big deal but just thought i would let ya know

Use Root Explorer
System/usr/keylayout/Omap-Keypad.kl then go down to key 114 115 and reverse them.
So KEY 114 should read Volume Down
Key 115 should read Volume up.

Man, we are all making an effort to making this a better Rom. It's a ***** trying to find what's wrong with this B key. I have researched anything related to keypads in this rom.

Side note: Hashcode was notified by a user about this:

Find this file on your phone:
/system/usr/keychars/omap-keypad.kcm

At the top there's a line which reads:
type FULL

change this to:
type ALPHA

This will make your Shift/Alt keys work regularly. Instead of having to hold one while pressing a letter.

I can download from the market no problem. This alpha it's working really well actually...especially with the new dragon Swype!

WiFi tether for root users works for this build, have to set it to DROID III and masterAP.. also you can download! super dim.apk from the market to turn on acklight for the home uttons , and keypad... also the phone also quit working on me 4 times and still cant get to work.. i get calls ut can hear noone and can call out with NO sound from earpiece our out thru mic i tested this several times with no definitive reason why, hashcode knows aout the wifi tether app.. ut the superdim app is something i just foun d.... .... HASHCODE is awesome.. keep up fantastic work..

i want to be on beta team for any and all d3 roms....

hash code, really nice rom! i love it! here's some things i noticed (obviously u know these):

the holding of the shift and control key
2 gallery apps
i would love the camera soon
the fc and reboot of launcher
sd card failure
what about 1% battery increments
facebook syncing contact profiles
google talk not working
others im sure you are working on...

But man what a nice rom! fast, smooth, and ICE CREAM SANDWHICH!

No sd card failure look at /emmc in root of device ..
No prolems with Launcher unless u r using "trebuchet"
no google talk bc requires camera..
1% is a MOD not AOSP

maye someone else knows aout the other issues.. my daily driver since release .. except my phone will not work at all not even reboots gonna flash back to gingey for now for done issues.. may try reflash.. will let u know.. have nice dayz

and locked .DB files trying some mods with sqlite any suggestions on unlock?

Are you talking about wifi tethering? People have already reported (hash himself) that this works
