Safestrap is better and recommended because you can always get back to recovery with if you get boot loop

thanks hash. cam works great everything else seems very smooth. only thing i have is static on the bluetooth. and i cant talk and other people hear static when i use the bluetooth. this is the only thing i really need. i cant talk on my phone for long without the bluetooth. i have a jawbone era and it will find it and it will connect. but when i talk to dial it is full of static and all distorted. nice real nice donation to the first person to fix this. gonna support the work already but its so hard to use ics without my bluetooth.. thanks for all your hard work. maybe since camera is working other problems will be addressed.

Is there anything I can do? I love love love this rom. I love ice. I don't need any special things just bluetooth headset to not be staticly. I can connect it finds it fine and stays connected. I don't care bout audio not working with bluetooth on I just need to get my jawbone to have a voice call and have it clear on both ends what can I do? I really need this for a daily driver. I don't wanna miss out on this but talking on phone without booth is not an option for me. Please help... thanks hash

For those having problems getting calendar information to sync, go to the calendar app and check settings. Mine were not set to sync despite being set properly in the accounts settings.

Had decided to run Alpha 7 exclusively during a trip to Florida this week. It ran flawlessly. GPS worked without restarts, I never had a reason to complain or want to switch back. I did want to take a couple of pictures and eventually switched back to do that. It didn't take me long to discover how happy I was with ICS and Hash's work. I switched back right away. So I get back home and discover the Beta. Bonus!

Edit. Since this is now in Beta, and considering my remarks above, it sure would be nice to have the first post modified to add the links to indicate that you're running this ROM

For Beta 1, The camera works nicely, I was afraid it might have some of the color flaws that the original had but I don't see any of it. It still lags during shooting, but I didn't expect that to go away considering its really the original camera cobbled into ICS. I can't find the menu entry for deleting the battery stats, but will do it the old fashion way.

The only thing I don't like, and its a minor quibble, is the boot animation. I really liked the one used in the Alpha. I understand the need/desire to go with a CM based animation, and I don't boot often enough for it to become a pain point, but if I had my druthers....

Finally flashed this yesterday after camera has been activated. Nice job to all involved in this project!!

I may have missed something thru all the various posts.... Is FLASH supported with the latest build? I seem to be having issues with any browsers or apps that stream any video.

Flashed this last night, and its great! I'm trying it as a daily driver right now. Hopefully everything goes as smooth as it has been. Hard to beat liberty....but you might be doing it!

One request-dlna-which I'm not sure if any of the bugs have to do with dlna, but if not I would really like to have it!

Thanks to all involved its great!

Almost forgot to add/ask.... I do have the dlna app I used in liberty on my sd card, but is it compatible?
