sending videos via text or e-mail

I have tried to send videos that i have taken with my phone to friends and family but have been unsuccessful in doing so. I can send pictures fine as an attachment but videos never go through. I select which video to send by holding my finger on the video and then press share. i've tried sending it through e-mail and it still won't work. Help please

when you have your video mode open, hit the menu button then options and change it to low quality, you will have to record the videos in this quality to send

Wow. that was fast. Thanks for the quick response. I tried it and it does work for e-mail. Is there a way to make it work through a text?
