Should We Use Any Task Killer with Sapphire 0.8.4?

I just want to get back to everyone and let them know that once I took off ATK my temps dropped. I am running between 26C and 30C before it would run between 35C and 40C dancedroid

Also set profiles using SetCPU to control battery life and heat issues with the kernels.

Just a suggestion.......

it would be great if the SetCPU profiles and ATK can be built in the Rom in the next release. This way your phone can be set on cruise control and dont have to worry about a thing......dancedroid

I cannot imagine cvpcs building this directly into the ROM. Linux's memory management is incredible, I don't see how an end user can do a better job of managing how best to use memory than the OS itself. When memory is needed, Android will free it up by killing something which hasn't been used in ages. Just because a "task" is open in ATK or System Info PAnel does NOT mean it is active and sucking up cycles. ATK sucks up the cycles.
