In fact, our second convertible WAS our Winter car. 1999 Saab 9-3 Convertible with Blizzack snow tires on it. Pffttt. That thing out handled ANY AWD vehicle (without snows). We called it our snowmobile.
Easily the best handling car I've experienced in winter yet.
Having said that, the Mazda I just bought is my first AWD. I was interested in trying that for once.
And you mistook what I said: HARDTOP Convertibles are going bye bye. Ragtops are still as popular as they've ever been.
