What is so different about ics vs gingerbread other than the interface? I've been reading about some of the pros and cons and any extra information would be helpful.

What is so different about ics vs gingerbread other than the interface? I've been reading about some of the pros and cons and any extra information would be helpful.

The same thing that is different between windows 7 vs xp/vista and mac os mountain lion vs lion/leopard and any OS update. It is newer, faster, better, smoother, newer features, better battery life, takes advantage of the latest hardware better (ie multicore cpu support ect). Apps that take advantage of the new features wont run on the older OS. Just install it. You will enjoy it .
