Yep, it'd be a great present, I just cannot justify ~$100 (shipping and all) so that I can check my email in the shower. Plus what about the warranty, does Liquipel protect that water-damage-detecting sticker inside the battery covers of our phones? I can see problems. And what happens if the phone does stop working? I guess I'm too lazy to check their site for warranty info, but... Hey, that reminds me, the Thunderbolt and EVO 4G (the original) used to be in Liquipel's supported devices list, now they aren't... So I guess it doesn't matter, I can't get it atm.

I do have to admit I am curious about the logistics of it as well. Anyway, I don't really see myself getting the process done to any devices but certainly is interesting if nothing else.

aww! that's bad! i have experienced it before but not with my smartphone, with my flip phone. i use blower to dry it, still works but the performance is not as good as before.
