SMS Counter?

Ok, is there a word counter for when you type your text message to see how much more words you can write? I had this on my Blackberry, but I don't see it here. Thanks

Don't know of one, but if you use Handcent SMS it will automatically break the message into 160 word chunks (if you set the appropriate preference) and you won't need to worry about it.

Handcent is the way to go. Auto break up of texts of 160... can't beat that. And it send them as sepsrate SMS so you don't run into a situation where you text say an AT&T customer over 160 and they only receive the first 160.... They'll receive all of it with Handcent.

Handcent has an actual counter..well for letters. It is a 160 character counter that you can edit and change.
