So who else is excited!!!!

I'm staying with my Droid until 9/3. By then the next phone will be out and the Incredible won't even be on my selection list.

I know there is a lot of hype on line about the phone, and I really hope (and think) it's going to be great, but has anyone else noticed that there has been no advertising dollars spent to hype this phone like the Droid? Matter of fact the main commercials you see from Verizon are for the Droid, which leads me to believe that is still their flagship phone.
anyone want to preorder my incredible? i will be getting it tomorrow and selling it in about 6 months so if anyone wants to preorder it...i'm making a list.
flagship=best...most reviews/specs give the edge to the incredible
is it just me or do most of the commercials now seem to be leaning toward"droid" and less toward the moto droid? might be a play to introduce future droids to the lineup.

Indeed the incredible will be a great device but owning the droid there is really no gain for me. I am rooted and have wifi tether and love the OC capability and am running very stable. Can't really see upgrading early. My upgrade is not until 11/17 but may not even upgrade then. I am thinking MOTO will have seen what they need to do to compete in the android market and have the "droid 2" that will be even faster, smarter, more advanced than the incredible.

Then again, 4G is right around the corner and will require a new device anyway so i will see how everything shapes up until then.
i love my droid but the main gains for me will be
no physical keyboard...little slimmer
sense ui
fm radio(you may be getting that with 2.2)
8mp camera.....ehh we'll see
optical track ball....again,we'll see how useful it really is

Commercials I see show a Motorola Droid. Specials comments, like Bogos and such also specifically mention Moto Droid.

I've yet to see on television one commercial for the Incredible. That's not saying it isn't a better phone or not, that just seems to be Verizons marketing decision.

yeah no inc commercials but i was talking about the new commercials that feature the market and apps.most of them do show a moto droid but not as pronounced as the old ads with the robot tapping the device. the bogo and pricing are blurbs at the end or the commercials. who knows what's in the minds of the powers at big red??? genius or insanity?

No commercials does not mean anything to me now. It's not out until Thursday, I don't think you want to have a commercial on TV saying "coming soon". I bet once it's out, you will see it everywhere. IMHO anyways...

I'm excited about tomorrow, but i have taken a step back after researching new phones on the block for introduction with front face cameras. This is telling me that 4G, video cams, live TV, and video chats are on the horizon.

I think APPLE will be the first to introduce any/all of these features.

Tomorrow is INCREDIBLE.

Pssst... You might want to take a quick look at the EVO 4G. It already has a 4.3" screen, 1 Ghz Snapdragon, Front facing camera, 4G, HDMI out, etc... ooh and it's coming out in June on Sprint. So ummm... Apple. yeah... no

That's the whole idea. Verizon is going with the "Droid" branding on Android devices. This is an excellent marketing strategy and gives the consumer a brand name to associate with.

I am somewhat excited, this is my first smartphone, so it's all going to be new to me. I am really hoping I like it, I go back and forth on whether I really "need" it or not. I am trying not to hype it up too much to myself.
