Soft key lights on Fascinate

Hey I have these fascinate. Well we were thinking that it would be awesome to had an app that controls the soft key lights to stay on or flash when u have messages. Does anyone think this could be done?

yes this can be done..... but I think you would really like NoLed from the market, it creates dots/or small pics on the screen when you get messages and it doesn't consume a lot of power.... check it out
