Some last minute questions before I try to mod my DX

When you get the android and the exclamation, hit the search key. That should bring you to the stock recovery. Try rebooting from there and that might bring you to the CW recovery. Otherwise try pulling the battery and see if that gets you to CW recovery. If not, something is amiss...

Yes the search key brings up the following options (and an error):
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition


E:Can't open /cache/recovery/command

:edit: regular power on loads the rubix startup screen, which looks like it just cycles repeatedly. the reboot system now option does the same. In this case the only way I can get it to stop (before completely depleting the battery) is to open the case and remove the battery.

Which of these other options would even be useful to me?

Tried them all, nothing worked except the last resort (to me anyhow), wipe data/factory reset
Now it looks like I am setting things up, so hopefully it worked.
