Some random questions

I believe one of the easier methods of killing the camera shutter sound (plus that horrible 'low battery' notification) is to get one of the apps that can adjust system volume, e.g. elixir. As far as I can tell, the only things affected by setting the system volume to zero is that it eliminates those two sounds. All other notifications/ringtones/media are unaffected.
 
If your not using stock you could just go and change the shutter.ogg file in the media folder of the zip file of the rom to have no sound if you know how to use audacity.
