Sometimes when I charge my phone, it drains my battery....

Why is this? Sometimes I go to sleep with my phone half charged, I charge it and then when I wake the battery is almost completely dead. This has happened with a few different chargers and batteries, so it must be the phone...any ideas?

Maybe something is wrong with the USB connector on the phone....

What batteries and what chargers? I tend to dissuade people from chargers that arent by Moto (or RIM, because they seem to work well too) and from batteries that arent stock.

I have used the charger that has come up with that droid and the blackberry. The only time it seems to charge correctly is when it is hooked to the pc.

Are you using the stock usb cable on the wall charger?
