Here is mine...

Wow STG. YOURS was clearly on low power mode "not awake" most of the time and the power sipping is obvious. Nice!

One other thing is that for the most part the signal was green (good).

Here's my usage today on the Z3v

Yeah, my fears are confirmed. Signal levels were low (pink), the entire time. I believe signal level translates into power consumption due to the phone increasing its signal power to compensate for our levels from towers.

Not sure what that really means or what you're fearful of? I live in an area with poor reception. The Z3v is still getting better reception than my Samsungs. I was on WIFI all day, and I switched the mobile network setting from Global to LTE/CDMA only. Not sure what bearing any of that has.... I'm pretty pleased that I can get 7 hours of screen time with 13% left leaving everything on at full levels in an area with poor reception. I was only getting 2 to 3 hours before the battery totally died on my last two Samsungs.

Oh, my bad. I didn't notice the amazing 7 hours of screen time. I know you were on Wi-Fi all day however the radios still try keeping track of towers and remain at the ready to communicate if the Wi-Fi should go down. In your case the results given the screen time were quite impressive.

Wait.. He got 7 hours of on screen time with the z3 in a bad reception area? Even on WiFi.. That's pretty good... Especially powering a screen like that.. Hmmm.

Yeah, but don't get to excited. I'm sure the Turbo will have incredible battery life. [emoji12]

Both stg and pchain get great battery life. I just got outta my cousins place where I been the past 4hrs and I get garbage signal there.

For anyone doubting what I said about signal levels affecting battery consumption even when on Wi-Fi, take a look at the far right of the image below. I blew up dezy's chart above and moved it so that the right edge could be used as a ruler or straight edge. You'll need to tap on the pic to see it clearly. At the top you'll see a straight drop in battery power for a short while, indicated by the green line starting high and suddenly continuing a bit lower. At the bottom you'll see the signal going to red. The two are directly connected time wise.
