I am a proud new owner of the Droid2 and your slick & very sick rom has convinced me to keep this device and not revert back to my og Droid which i almost took back from my fiancee until i flashed this beast of a rom. I'm R2D2 themed and oc'ed at 1.3 since i go any higher than that without a reboot. I ran the phone all day yesterday thru some serious usage since it was my first day of the owning the d2 and got an entire day and most of the night out of the phone which i am amazed.

Today i encountered an annoying bug my phone will randomly pop up with a square with the triangle logo displaying "Info Download of update failed." I'm assuming this is has something to do with verizon's update but how do i get rid of this? I did a search for this and seems i am the only one who eccountered this.

Back to the topic tho thanks for a great speedy rom and keep up the great work.

I have not encountered this bug. What Update is failing?

i am not quite positive i guess the verizon update or something i tried wiping and restoring and it still happens. when i googled "droid 2 download of update failed" it comes up with ota stuff so thats whats going on im not sure new to the droid2.

I believe its the 2.3.20 update maybe your phone didn't get it yet what does your baseband say it should say bpc010907p if it doesn't go back to stock update and reflash rom

I have contacts when I load the list throught the dailer, but when I go to the contacts via the apps menu I dont have any contacts at all.

What does it say on the top left?press on that bar and press all contacts then you will get contacts also make sure your not in status updates or something.

User Error. I had an old version of squid (love the circle indicator btw) and my gmail wasnt set to sync contacts. I just turned it on and problem solved.

thanks squid that fixed it right on up i had a few issues after flashing back to the stock droid2 rom. I flashed it back updated after installing all my apps that was installed after discovering squidly and then i lost root tried to root it but it didnt let me get acess to anything but rebooted it and somehow it magically went into clockwork like it would on the droid1. i installed your great rom again and no probs. Crazy how the droid2 is setup not as friendly as my old friend droid1 but thanks to your rom i love my new droid2.

I'd like to donate to you thanks for the help and the effort put into squidlyBEAST rom.

yes sir... i installed it just like the 928 theme on 2.3.2. I gave up already, i just 7ziped it and then pushed it thru. The only problem im still having and cant figure out now is when i do a back up and then try and restore, my calendar unsyncs and disappears.
