Squidly 2.3.20.1 stock squidly and full blur

I have an extended battery and was just wondering if having flashed your rom could negate the usefulness of it, as im guessing the rom has preset values for the battery in some way and may not utilize or recognize the diffrent charge capabilitys of the extended battery... or is this not the case?

Well the extended battery is the same voltage but a higher ampere hour so it should be fine.

For some it increases performance I haven't noticed anything groundbreaking but play with a reboot will reset it you can also set swap from it and other things.

Droid2 R2D2 Rom to Squidly?

I have a regular Droid2 currently running an R2D2 Rom. I plan on wiping data and cache anyway, so will I be safe flashing to this Rom? Or do I need to find the proper .sbf for my phone? If an .sbf is required could you post a link if you happen to have it? I thought that I had read somewhere tho that .sbfing from System Version 2.4.0.A955 bricked some phones. Any help on this will be greatley appreciated.

i have the EB and running his ROM works GR8 im oc at 1.2 and it will last from 8am till around 10pm with about 20% left on it after tethering most of the day and a lot of text and phone calls

The D2 and the R2D2 run different s/w. You might want to ask in the R2D2 threads if someone has successfully flashed the .sbf for the D2 (not R2D2) 2.3.20 software. If someone has, you'll (at your own risk) flash that 2.3.20 .sbf to make your R2D2 a regular D2. Then this would work. Maybe also check the thread from Team Black Hat that released the D2 2.3.20 .sbf file. It's long, but worth the read when weighing the risk.

Ok, I think I am in need of immediate assistance...

This is my first custom ROM application for my D2. I did days of research, backed everything up with google, titanium, and bootstrapper, and then I tried to apply the blur ROM. As I was in bootstrapper, I wiped cache, data, battery stats, and dalvik... this is where I may have messed up... When I went to mount and load the zip file, I accidentally hit reboot, which made me have to setup my phone all over again, and I then had to reinstall bootstrapper, and wipe everything all over again.

Finally, I loaded your file Squid. Its now been sitting for over an hour at ~25% loading bar.

WTH DO I DO?! I dont want to pull the battery in case it will mess everything up... Again, this is my first time, and I really dont want to brick my phone. Please help?

***update*** I decided to pull the battery, and try the install a second time. Which to no surprise did the same thing, it sat at around 25% for a while. So I pulled it again, but this time when I rebooted it, it loaded, and it loaded "somewhat" perfectly. Contacts, apps, and everything else is still loading slowly, but I have no internet connection.

Can someone walk me through what might have happened, and what I should do to fix all of this? Again, I am admitting, I am a noob

*** 2nd update*** I dont know why, but everything other than my text message history and a few apps are there. I feel everything is in the clear now, but Im really not sure, and Im scared to do anything that might brick my phone. Is this common? Can I get all my text messages back? and again, what do you all think went wrong? And should I be worried that its not fully installed?

and finally, I may be wrong, but shouldnt there be a gscript app? I cant find anything like that

Ok. I sbf'd last night cus I was comin from fission. Hard reset then flashed your rom. As soon as the home screen came up it soft rebooted. I didnt think anything, did another hard reset. When I started trying to install apps it would freeze and reboot. I had this same problem last time I flashed this rom. So, I sbf'd and reflashed. Seemed ok, but my phone reboot itself 4 times today, that I know of. As soon as there is a load it freaks out. I sbf'd a few minutes ago, got it runnin, and its rebooting when installing apps again. I just oc'd and my quads are 2300+, and Im feelin like a close to stock rom right now, so what am I doing wrong? I love the ApeX-like theme, and the rom is flawless except the reboots. Help me out here squidly?...
*also, my picture frame plus widget keeps shuttin down on me, it goes blank.
Its just rebootin for no reason. I can just be doin stuff on the home screen and it freezes for about 30-45 seconds then shuts off...
