Squidly 2.3.20.1 stock squidly and full blur

Yes 2:3.20 users said it all of a sudden started happening so I don't know if its a vzw thing,but on the 2.3.20 thread there are 2 vvm files one virgin one zipaligned you can try.

So in the Dialer app... there is the Vvm button , Dialer, and Voice command.
Will that Vvm button work with either one of those? or should i just Mod the phone app and put a X button there instead of the VVm icon?

Same here.. .but i figured terminal is just as easy and all i really wanted was the reboot option

It should install but data must be mounted (it will say unmount) you can install through the market and get the data from my zip go to data/data/nl.rogro.GscriptLite.apk/Gscriptssqlite or something like that take that file and move it to the same place after you install gscripts from the market using root explorer,set the same permissions.

is anyone else having issues with the Vvm.apk not downloading properly?

I'm having an issue with Vvm also, It will work if I switch to open core. I need to unsubscribe, uninstall, reinstall and subscribe, but you can get it to work. If you switch back to stagefright, you will probably have download problems as I have, and that's the way it is. It is no biggy for me, I just don't use it, saves $3.00 anyway. Stagefright is faster so Vvm becomes unimportant. Just my 2 cents.

I actually wanted to ask you Squid, what the difference between the Full Blur and Stock is...please explain..

Full blur has most everything included as if it rolled off the show room floor. Stock removes much of the bloatware apps. I'm pretty much a noob to all this and there's prolly a better explanation but that's the quick version as far as I know.

Got a quick question regarding battery life. Is the squidly full blur going to have better battery life than a stock D2 or the same? I'm new to all this so not really familiar with what’s different between the two.

That's pretty much it stock squidly has no blur except the phone and contacts,with google email and mms apps. With either rom you can use the scripts to turn them into each other or make the rom into your own.

Speaking of the dialer -- I've noticed that when someone calls I get the answer slider sometimes and the answer button other times. I haven't quite figure out what determines it.

Nope not just you. When the phone is locked, the slider shows on an incoming call. When the phone is unlocked and in use, the answer button shows.
