Stock TB ROM has been built - need volunteers!!

Ok i got the .ko file plugged in first it worked with adb remount, then flashed the boot.img but it froze up at the HTC screen...i have to go to work but will be happy to jump back on this when i get out of work today...

I gotta know - when you flashed the kernel yesterday - was it boot.img and you said it worked?

Hey chevy i never got it to boot with your kernel sorry for the misinformation...it booted with whatever comes with the rom and wouldnt pick up 3g or 4g but i had bars...i tried to sign in but couldnt bcuz of no data connection but i didnt try to make a call...but i never got your kernel to boot up...sorry for not being clear...

yeah chevy it's a no go on the zImage flashed it twice with fastboot and got stuck at boot twice.

I have been told by other devs that for some reason the zImage itself will not flash ... however, you guys DID get it booted by flashing boot.img right?

To confirm Chevy the boot.img DOES work.

OK excellent! Now - any issues? What about wireless, is it working? And is this on the ROM I built, or stock, or someone else's ROM?

It works on your Rom, With no wireless but my computer went down before I could flash the .ko

Did u pick up data with the boot.img?

Hmmm - there is one other ko that is NOT built as part of the kernel - it is wimax - I am betting that is why ...

For someone running the stock rom - can you ensure data is working - then run 'lsmod' in terminal and dump the output here?

i'm on stock, you mean shell or terminal emulator, and the exact command

ahhh cool ...

OK, if you have ADB - then run 'adb shell' - once in shell, type 'lsmod' and enter

If just in terminal emulator, type 'lsmod' and enter

Then dump output here
