Not sure if that's going to work for you. Updating from 4.6.4 to 4.6.8 doesn't work, if I remember correctly. Don't think you can skip an update.

To anyone having the issue where the install fails, it is because you are rooted (as far as I know). It happened to me, and when I unrooted, it worked. Also, can you root once you update?

Has been said that you presently can not.

Update:

I just got in touch with Moto live chat staff.

They confirmed that this update is only for Droid Pro machines connected to VERIZON network
Means: If you are not using Verizon, say using AT&T/TMo or outside the States,
This update will not show up, and report as Phone up to date.
Quite disappointed.

Hope there is any bro around on Verizon, and would be willling to extract the update.zip for us.
Fingers-Xed:hail:

Nonsense writing.
I have never used Verizon. I take the impurity operator. And I normally download the update.
If anyone should then posted it on Motofan http://forum.motofan.ru/index.php?s=&showtopic=1730230&view=findpost&p=1661311
In the name please do not watch it really 4.7.3

can anybody pull the update for me? there should be a zip stored in the /cache directory. i can't get it because my phone isn't connected to the network anymore.

if you're having trouble installing the update if you are bootstrapped, it's because the bootstrap modifies a few files. the zip initially checks that everything is cool with the system so it can patch the files. if your files have been tampered with, the zip will fail because it only works with an untampered system

I'm running your CM7 but I can try to get it from my sister's phone for you (not sure of an ETA because she's at school.)

Thanks Moto, Google, VZW... for the latest update with the annoying, audible unprofessional "Droooiiiidddd" that now sounds when powering up my un-rooted phone that's in "SILENT" mode!!!!

Fixed n updated to new version w root.

So far my phone is behaving better overall. Hasn't "magically" restarted itself and the keyboard backlight seems better. Still have the very annoying issue of it dropping its Bluetooth link to my car constantly though... Dropped an outgoing call, took an incoming call then dropped another outgoing call...

I applied the 4.7.3 OTA update and my backlight on the keyboard stays on like it used to Pre-GB. I've been rooted ever since the GB update. As usual I was hitting my forehead after I pressed Yes, cause I thought I'd lose root. Well, after it updated, the phone still had root! I had to reboot it a few times after the initial restart - it acted like it was hanging up at random, but after a couple of reboots, it's been stable again. Been going for the past two days without any random hangups, keyboard backlight issues, or anything of that sort.

But I'm running into an odd problem. When I fire up the Camera or Camcorder apps, they do not show the camera sees on the screen, but when I take a photo, it actually takes a photo and stores it like normal. Basically it's like the viewfinder is shut on a real camera, but it'll still take photos. Also when using Xing Team's "Barcode Scanner" I get the same results, the screen won't show what the camera sensor sees, making that app useless at the moment.

Has anyone else had an issue with the camera like that? This happened post 4.7.3 update. Makes me wonder why my phone kept root but now the camera isn't working 100%.

My camera's working fine. Also, thanks for telling me about OTA rootkeeper, works like a charm.

Hi
I have a problem, the phone does not work on 4.7.3.
Is it possible to roll back to firmware 4.7.3 to 4.6.8?

What do you mean "does not work"? What's it doing?

To go back to a previous version, you'll need to read up on SBFing your phone, search the forum for that.

Maybe you can do a factory reset instead?
