Stopping Skype from starting in bg

I constantly check my running apps to see what's up and find Skype is always trying to run. I force stop, looked at settings, but still is in the bg. Tips on how to keep it stopped as I never use it. Thanks!

The only way to stop Skype is to root your phone and remove it. Running apps don't mean that they're using resources though- Android balances what's important so trying to continually stop processes is a losing battle because they will restart again if conditions permit.
