Strange Gingerbread issue... screen unlock?

Anyone else notice that the simple act of swiping the lock from left to right, to unlock the screen, is not nearly as smooth as it was with the previous version. It seems I often has to attempt to unlock it two or three times before I'm successful. This never use to be an issue. Has anyone else noticed this?

I only used the lock for about 20 minutes, but it did seem very choppy to me.

(I personally much prefer disabling the screen unlock. It's enough to have to press the power button. Pressing power AND swiping to unlock just seems redundant.)

Yes I have to swipe much more often to unlock but I'm sure I'll get used to it...

guessing just have to go a tiny bit farther across to get it to actually trigger now?

eh just messed with it went all the way across straight line 3 times didn't work

do you have to go across SLOWER now? ugg

Same thing is happening to me. Just have to keep trying

do you still have to unlock swipe if you use the pattern lock in that version?
very annoying bug for those who need to lock down phone

I bypass that crap unlocker by simply using mylock from the market.

That's the reason I got it. Thr stock unlocl screen is so choppy and harsh, I done even want to see it

Yea, the app to get rid of the slide is my fav! I use screen mode widget. Zod, love the user name and avatar! Got a good chuckle! :)

I might have found the issue. If you are having this issue, is it happening when the phone is plugged in/charging?
