Strange thing on the pattern lock screen

With the phone closed and on the pattern lock screen, slowly open the phone. When it is about 1/8 to 1/4" open, a smaller pattern with nine circles appears for a split second while it is trasitioning from vertical to horizontal. What is that? It looks to me like it is some kind of graphical representation of the security pattern I have programmed in. That is not real cool if that's what it is.

I've seen the smaller pattern before, but it usually appears then returns to normal. My guess is you need to free up some memory.

I went into my taskpanel app and killed all tasks and did it again and it still showed up. Is there another way of freeing memory?

You're right, I don't think it does. I changed my pattern and the way the little pattern screen was shaded didn't change, I don't think.

I also see it, are you using a home screen replacement? I wonder if that is the culprit. Anyway, I doubt it is a problem.
