I used a leaked update.zip to get Gingerbread. I want to go back to stock and use OTA updates, so I used a SBF to go back to 2.1. Now it won't boot past the red M and I can't get into recovery.
Sorry if I missed some FAQ or something, but please help
I can get into the menu with the android and triangle. But, the whole reason I'm flashing is that ever since I used the leaked version, my Menu and Search buttons don't work. I can't press Search to select any options from the android triangle screen..................
Update. I used a SBF that apparently screwed me over. I boot straight into the bootloader now, no recovery.
The Situation: I was on OTA root. I then used a leaked gingerbread update.zip and updated. I want to revert back to whatever version can get me back on OTA. I attempted to, and am now locked at the bootloader.
Code:
Bootloader
30.04
Err:A5,70,70,00,1F
MEM_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer mode:
USB
I'm desperate for help at this point. I'd even be willing to pay for help.
Plug in power supply with battery removed and wait for battery icon with question mark. Disconnect power supply. Replace battery and restart. This helped me get out of boot loop.
That Shadow system only .sbf is messed up. I tried to use it for my phone a couple weeks ago, and it wasn't complete. Go to the Team Black Hat website and get it from there.
Thats not the bootloader that is your recovery. If you have made a backup while you were on 2.3.340 you can restore it. You cannot remove that recovery without booting up the phone and you for sure don't want to remove the bootloader.
