Sudden Gmail Issue - Not Getting Emails

Thanks for the heads up! I am still not experiencing this problem. Weird. I'm usually a magnet for stuff like this happening to me.

I hate that it happened to you/him. I know what its like being over there and not having the ability to communicate. Frustrating isn't the word.

I have been having the problem for a few days, but because it is up and down I thought it was that the WiFi at work was blocking Gmail push. If I switched from WiFi to 3G it would get a bunch of emails suddenly. It is only today that I am working from home that I realized it just refreshes the mailbox any time I switch networks, either from or to WiFi but then doesn't refresh regularly unless I do it manually, certainly not pushing on either network consistently.

Hope Google fixes soon.

Noticing some improvement on the email notifications now...as are others (see the above thread).
