Suggestions

When I upgraded to the DX2 I was happy until the phone froze up twice in less than a week. I exchanged it and three days later same crap. I haven't done any nodding yet cause I want to play with the phone first but I can't take it anymore. What are some good phone recommendations?

"Good" depends on what your looking for. It's a highly subjective word and doesn't really mean anything without qualification. What's good to one person may not be to the next.

As is typical for these threads you've completely omitted your requirements. Provide them if you want relevant suggestions. Otherwise you can just read existing threads if you want random phone suggestions. Check out the other "What should I get?" threads.

I'm in the boat of needing to add a line now as well, so sorry for jumping on your thread, but I'm looking for feedback as well.

I'm frustrated that the new 4G dual core with front facing camera phones haven't arrived yet.

I also like the larger screens.

So, it looks like I'm down to deciding between the X2 and the Samsung Charge.

I had so hoped to see the Bionic and/or the Verizon vs of the Samsung S2 arrive by now.

Realistically though, how much faster/slower is the Charge than a dual core?

I don't have 4g in my area, but am thinking when traveling into the metro areas it would be nice.
I do like the brighter screens that samsung has.
I'll have to compare the d2 sharpness next to the charge.
Has anyone been able to do side by side comparisons of the screens?

I know swype could be added to any droid phone and that is a criteria for me.

It sounds like the X2 has the same moisture/temperature issues as the older units. Am I right here?

The biggest draw to the x2 is the screen size, battery life and possibly the screen resolution, but I have a feeling it doesn't compare to the amoled plus. I have a super amoled screen now (no plus) and it's been great.

Thanks for the feedback.. I'll be toting this phone for at least a year.
