If you take a look at HTC's history.....they have been the first for pretty much EVERYTHING(first 1ghz, first 4g,first dual core, first 720p,first quad core...ect...). Its what I have come to expect and love them for.

If only Motorola and HTC were to merge...THEN we'd see some earth-shattering phones. Imagine an HTC core, Motorola Radios, an HTC camera, Motorola chassis, that display (1080P) on a 4.5" screen, an HTC/Motorola "Blense" or "Slur", and the battey life of a Motorola Droid MAXX?! Only one thing I'd add...the Samsung's haptic feedback. I so much prefer the "ringing" style vibration (very high frequency compared to others) as it both feels less irritating and you can also hear its pleasing "ring".

I like that FOXKAT!! :-D you never know? With all the suing thats going on, they might "ALL" Ban together one day, just to "Destroy" Apple and be done with it!!!
Put all their technology in one pot and leave apple in the dust! Just got too big for its britches!

+1 I totally agree with this. HTC has been remarkable at pushing out the latest hardware technology and putting its spurs into Sammy's and Moto's sides; and that is what this thread is about. Not about who makes the best phone as we all know that can become VERY opinionated. HTC has no more software issues than the others; in fact they address their issues in a timely fashion. Don't blame HTC if Verizon sits on OTAs.

I also agree that at some point, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! How much hardware do we need right now? The software for the Dual-cores is still being developed.

The camera on the S3 is by far the best camera on a phone that I have seen. So I think in the next year we will see some really good cameras in are smartphones

HTC camera are some of the best ive used. WAY better vs the....anything motorola and way better vs the nexus. Hell the dinc2 camera destoys the nexus's camera! The Rezounds camera is better vs the dinc2's camera.

The best camera phone out right now is the nokia 808. It beats most point and shoot cameras. But it is 41 megapixels

Yes but the Nokia 808 is in a league of its own. I do not even add them in because it is not even fair. In my opinion the 3 best camera goes to SGS3 HTC one x and the iPhone 4s. And again I am not counting the Nokia 808 because it is in a league of its own and it is not even fair to even try to compare the normal smart phones camera to the Nokia 808

The Rezound's camera is better than the 4s. Not much but it is. Sharper picture and truer color.

putting that camera on a dumb phone would've been no different then the phone its on lol no one that enjoys smart phones would get that or any Nokia running symbian so although it can't be compared with any smartphone when it comes to camera it also can't compare with any smartphone in the rest of the smartphone features either

It is funny how they put such a great camera in a outdated phone. That would almost be like putting a 41MP camera in a LG chocolate

I expect camera very soon to have dedicated chip just for the camera(htc one x, nokia 808). I would also really like to see walcom chip in every phone as well(sammy note).

They have the tech to do all this today, but their just going to stunt the growth of our phones by doling out upgrades over time , little by little , to get the most money that they can!!!
