Not if you want it replaced through them .. if the perso you sold it to went through Motorola and the date code was less than one year then Moto would take care of it

eehh no lol .. would work in the same sense except i dont have the file for the Droid 2 .. sorry i must have missed that part ..

This is the manual update file for the droid 2.. have not tested it this way so this is a flash at your own risk if you did want to try it .. has anyone else unrooted this way on a droid 2?
