Swype is an awesome keyboard.

Been using Swype for about a week now. It's probably the best keyboard I've ever used. It is a great app for the Droid, but you have to download it directly from Swype. Not hard to do. Take a look.

I actually type faster without swype. Guess I'm used to the on screen keyboard since I owned and iphone for two years before the droid

So how do you download it?

Download it to your computer, then transfer it to your SD card, then open it on your phone using a file app like OI File Manager (what I used, free from App Market) and it'll do all the installation for you. Then you go to Settings -> Keyboard then check Swype as default keyboard.

or go to this link on your DROID Swype keyboard preview for Droid leaked DroidMuff.in and download it to your droid, and when the dl is complete click on it and it will ask to install.
