Swype not working please help

Just flashed rubix and the x-d2 port. Really liking the performance and looking to keep the rom for a bit except that swype isn't working. I like the inverted theme too. It said something about being made for a different device and only the edges flash after I swype a word. Thanks for any help

Also...the swype worked when I first flashed the rom...then stopped and gave me that popup. If the problem seems strange...can I remove swype and try to reinstall separately?

you will have to remove swype using root explorer
then install correct version

Uninstall swype and swype installer reboot, download latest swype installer install installer and swype. Happy swypeing!

My swype doesn't have the option to uninstall so im guessing I have to do it manually. Is there another program than rootexplorer that's free? I saw a list on a dx forum of things to manually remove. Maybe easier connected to ubuntu?
