Swype wont stick

I got a problem here guys, Im on BB 0.4 and everytime my phone shuts down either from battery dieing or me doing a reboot my swype keyboard wont stay default. I have to keep going into the settings and unchecking the android keyboard so I can use the swype one. Why isnt the phone remembering my settings and keeping the android keyboard off???

If this just started undo that which you did if possible.

Every time I have switched roms I've had to go back to the official Swype site and download the program again or else I run into problems with it functioning ok. I uninstall the installer as well as the program, then run the installer again and reinstall. Then I am good to go.

I suspect Christim is correct. I asked about your version number to be sure you were running the most recent version of Swype that corrected the problem with rebooting and losing the Swype functionality.

I was having this problem until I moved Swype from the SD card to the phone. Go to Settings-->Applications-->Manage Applications, click on swype and select "move to phone".
