After having the same problems as others with syncing to FB, I started digging around the net looking for a solution. All I really want is to pull in the FB picture and have it sync to my contact. I don't care about the other data, just want the picture.
I found a program that will allow you to sync the FB pix to your Google contacts, which in turns sync's to the Droid. I just tried it and it works great.
Just thought I'd post it in case anyone else just wanted the pictures syncing.
