I had an Atari but it was technically old at the time. Still worked and I loved it though. Played about a million hours of Pitfall, anyone remember that game?

But it brings up a point I always try to make in these types of convos. People complain a lot about video games, its just our nature. But seriously the most advanced games used to be the ones that could display 5 colors instead of 3 (exaggeration but you get my point) . I remember playing Contra and being amazed that I could walk away from the screen and not just left and right, good times...

I loved Pitfall.. the big breakthrough for me, atari-wise is when, I forget the game, let you keep high scores... lol

To me, i put everything pre NES into the same generation. It might be ridiculous to assume that but it was before my time so the generational gap isn't seen to me. I admittingly try to play those games but they dont keep my atteniton. i just dont have that old nostalgic feeling you guys have because i didn't grow up on it. i have this paddle thing that connects to pc and it has pitfall, breakout, adventure and a space game cant remeber name of and i really only liked the space one but i cant say i played it more than 2 hours. Now NES, mario and duck hunt is king. hah lots of memories their.
BTW not to be random but the eagles? haha they lost to my beloved cardinals... and im not saying beloved becuase they are any good. :biggrin: Steelers have been my favorite team since i was little (my dads from pittsburg), and they are still shooting some birds out the air (cough ravens cough).

Lets see... Yes, I had pong,intellivision, then nes, then sega, n64. After that I got into the pc games for a long time. X box after that, then the wii and now ps3.

You guys that haven't played bf3 yet, your missing out! The online game play beats mw3 so bad. It is complete war, jets and helicopters flying overhead. Tanks, hummers and jeeps cruizing around. Boats in the water. It is what all military games should be based on.

That's what mw3 is about. Notice on the commercials its ww3 then it flips to mw3. Whole point of this version of cod, World city destruction.

I actually used to like the head shot challenges to get gold camo that mw1 had. Gave me something to work on and not get bored. Not saying that I am bored with the game already because I am not, I just liked it is all.

I just crossed over lvl 60 and I must say the M14 is nasty!! It is semi-auto but devastating for sure. I wish I had more time to play but this new job takes up a lot of my time.

I'm definitely not good enough for semi auto. I use the P90 because with my internet, I need something fast lol

I hear ya. I will just say I have played waaaaay too many hours of COD and for some reason I was always a huge fan of the semi-auto rifles. All the way back to the G3 in COD4.
