Very cool!
When I go through the fish eggs.xml there are lots of fish I can't buy because they are not in the game yet, like "goat fish" for example. Any way to get these unlocked?
Maybe jumping to level 80 skipped unlocking these fish?

You can try changing the <is_active> to 1 and/or the <visible_to> to all, I haven't tried it but those would be my best guesses

Yep! Changing is active to 1 made them visible in the game to buy!

Ok so can get all the fish but now none of the new fish can breed!
In fish eggs.xml all the fish that can breed say so. And in the game it says so too. Example blow fish is now 15/56 unlocked, but when try to breed blowfish with eagle ray it says "no breed able for these two fishes" ?

None of the fish you activated? Or none that were already there? I suspect wherever the breeding files are, they remove/add fish from there as they would be available normally.

Ok so this is just theory for now. I think the extra fish I unlocked need the breeding files downloaded from the tapfish site.
When looking there the breeded files on the sqlite browser all the first fish you can breed have codes example( fish 1 + fish 2 = ?)
I messed around and entered some numbers but didn't work.
I think the fish all have numbers that match up with the tapfish site when you unlock them it is downloaded and then your able to breed them. Without the right numbers the error for breeding comes up.

Is there any way to get fish bucks within the game? I'm willing to buy a few to support the dev because I am enjoying the game, but it would be nice if you could earn some fish bucks within the game. I've only been playing a couple of days so any tips would be appreciated.
I followed your video but when I got to the browse data part in QSLite browser, nothing came up. Any suggestions?
