TapaTalk....how well doe it work with this forum

You need to make sure that you have cookies enabled, if you do it will only ask you once.

Unfortunately that's not always the case, I think it might be 3rd party browser related. I got cookies enabled and I'm using the dolphin browser but that popup comes back about every 2nd/3rd time I come here.

Hmmmm.....

Well, let me mention it to admin again. Perhaps they can talk to the developer. I'm certain it isn't on our end. Have you guys emailed the developer at all?
its in the tapatalkdetect.js file in forum program folder,
been thinking about trying to edit it out to see if it breaks it on my stuff.
I was planning on placing something in site owner forum on tapatalk about it anyways and will do so today.
it is wrong, just plain wrong.

Just tried the demo version. Can't even load this forum. Getting a 404 & the app seems to be running clunky. Not impressed!

The tapatalkdetect.js is not required for tapatalk to function. The code itself only sets/checks for a cookie and produces an alert based on the useragent sent by the browser... it can be safely removed without affecting tapatalk functionality.

Yes I told the admins here a while back they can remove the edit to the header template that was part of the install.... this will remove the notification and it will function fine.

Yup, I just removed the script line from mine and it still works fine.

Oh, and to answer the original question of this thread: I love tapatalk! So much easier than zooming and sliding the screen all over the place. Sure, it doesn't do every thing it would do through a browser, but it does get me to the meat and potatoes of the forum. The messages.

Cool! Tapatalk now has custom signature lines!

Yea it makes a waaay easier to post on forums thats use it. U can click some links to see videos but not all. I think embedded videos don't work.

O think that may be more due to the fact that we don't have flash yet.

And who put the o so close to the I? And why does swype think that O is a word? Hmmmm...

thanks for verifying the .js file, my testing has also shown it to work.
I just renamed it so I can reapply it in 5 seconds if needed and its working very well like that.

That's not on our end. That's been day one since we started using the app. We weren't even aware of it, and I thought it had been taken care of. I'll mention it again.

I don't see it when I enter the forum on my Droid.

I can't FIND this Forum on Tapatalk.
