Taskbar Question

Hello, Can anyone tell me what the icon is on the Droid taskbar that is on the upper left-hand side...looks like a hexagon with a red circle with a number overlaid on it?

I thought it had to do with the number of emails, voicemails, or apps...something running perhaps?

Wow! Thanks for the quick response. When you said pull it down...I did so and it is related to tasks and calendar. I have been downloading apps...to check them out so I think it is related to one of those.
